We’re in the process of selling our house, so I went organizing crazy the other day. I went through all the cabinets in my kitchen and starting purging. When I got to my spices cabinet, I had a little mini heart attack. So many duplicates and so many expired spices. I literally threw away over half of them because they were expired.
I would read a recipe and just assume I didn’t have any of the spice so I would pick it up at the store, because why not? They’re generally under $5. So when I went through my spice box, I decided to write down all the spices that I have and their expiration dates.
I shared it on my recipe page (Melanie’s Mess Hall) and got a huge response, so I thought I’d blog about it!
There really isn’t a tutorial, it’s pretty simple 🙂
